Windjammers International Kite Team, began with the simple love of kite flying. In the early 80's a group of kite flyers got together regularly to entertain passers by on a Belle Isle, a small island in the center of the Detroit river. Later they wanted to see the world, while having fun flying kites. Every year, their audiences grows bigger, while continuing to discover new avenues in kiting, ideas.
